Questions, answered straight

Yes. MaximusLabs is remote first and async by default. Most roles are open to candidates across India and global time zones that overlap with the team for a few hours a day. Any specifics are confirmed in the first conversation.

Six steps: a short application, a conversation, a practical task on your technical AEO and SEO knowledge, a technical interview on SEO, AEO and GEO concepts, and an HR interview. After the HR interview you hear the result within two days, then onboarding. You hear back at every step.

Not always. GEO and AEO are young fields, so we care more about how you think, your curiosity and your track record. Strong backgrounds in your craft translate well, and we teach you our methodology.

Technical SEO is the work of optimizing a website's infrastructure so search engines and AI crawlers can find, render, understand and index its pages. It covers site speed, crawlability, mobile-friendliness, structured data, clean HTML and indexation. It is the foundation that makes content eligible to rank and to be cited by AI engines.

Schema markup is structured data, a shared vocabulary from Schema.org, added to a page's HTML to describe its content to machines. It powers rich results in Google and helps AI engines understand entities like articles, products, FAQs and people. At MaximusLabs we treat schema as a core signal for AI citation, not just for rich snippets.

Domain Authority is a third-party score from 1 to 100, popularized by Moz, that predicts how likely a domain is to rank, based largely on its backlink profile. It is a useful comparative signal but not an official Google ranking factor. We focus more on real trust signals, topical authority and citations across AI engines than any single score.

Google Search Console is a free Google tool that shows how a site performs in Search: impressions, clicks, average position, indexing status and technical issues. It is the primary source of truth for organic search data, and we use it to find opportunities, track results and prove impact for clients.

SEO optimizes to rank in traditional search results. AEO, Answer Engine Optimization, structures content to become the cited answer in engines like Google AI Overviews and Perplexity. GEO, Generative Engine Optimization, optimizes for how generative engines like ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude choose and cite sources. We do all three, with revenue as the metric that matters.
